Todd County Mugshot Law
Minnesota law gives the key answer for Todd County jail mugshots. Minnesota Statute 13.82 governs law-enforcement data. Subdivision 26 defines a booking photograph as a photograph or electronic image taken by law enforcement for identification purposes in connection with arrest. The same subdivision says booking photographs are public data, except as provided in that subdivision.
The statute also allows a law-enforcement agency to temporarily withhold access to a booking photograph if the agency determines that release would adversely affect an active investigation. Request Todd County Booking Photos
If a Todd County booking photo is not visible on the roster, use the sheriff's records process. The Todd County Sheriff's Office Records Unit accepts requests by email at Todd.records@co.todd.mn.us, by fax at 320-732-3754, by mail, or in person.
